get used to the weight of your pots. heavy pot, doesn't need water, light pot, needs water.
the other way is to get a moisture meter, they're not that expensive.'
mine get water every two to three days. sometimes i'll visually inspect the plant to see if it need water. wilting leaves are asking for h2o
