Be a good reason to tell customer support to do a Network refresh? I am with MetroPCS and I figure it out earlier this year that if they refresh my network it also drops my Hotspot back down to zero. Which gives me an extra 10 gigabytes to play with and comes in handy when the grandbabies come over and they want to watch a movie on the TV.

I'm not very computer savvy and I've used the same excuse a couple of times so I feel it's time to come with something new.

Merry Christmas. Frankly I'd keep using the same reason you've given before. They or will not eventually figure it out.

"I'm not very computer savvy and I think I messed up my network, could you refresh it? "
"How? IDK, I told you, I'm not very computer savvy"
Throw in some "WHAT"s, "HUH"s, have awkward silences and dad noises

Just complain about whatever problem you had before?
String em along for 5-10 minutes or so then mention they fixed it before "doing a network refresh or something like that, I think that's what it was called."
It might bait em into it.
If they ask about a firewall just say you don't use one because your home insurance probably wouldn't cover that. You'll get extra unsavy points. Used to troll AOL tech support with that answer back in the day during prank calls. I could only imagine the frustration they went through with that one.

get a DSL line to the house they offer unlimited data now .....speed is way under cable but the price is fair

as for the person con on the phone
1 take the sim card out of your phone and turn it off
2 call up your network ppl from a 2nd phone not yours
3 tell them your phone is not letting u get on to the network and when it does u are off then goes to romaning and then u shut it down and called them
4 important let them try that they want give it 5-7 mins
5 say what if i shut down my phone reboot it and u refresh my network to card on file ( this is what the stoner kid say to try u tell them )
6 sweet talk
7 get it done and thank the person
