What would you like in a coco nute?

I have a chemist who is interested in helping me develop some nutes. I'm thinking of a 2-part Coco AB.

Ideas are:

1) Most of the Nitrogen (N) in one bottle (A or B). This way it can be selectively cut during flowering, as experienced growers do with GH Flora 3-part, etc...

2) Potassium (K) probably split between the 2 bottles, so it can be cut in half, but not totally eliminated.

3) So one bottle would have most of the Phosphorus (P) and half the Potassium, should make for a good coco bloom profile.

4) Calcium (Ca) in one bottle, Magnesium (Mg) in the other bottle with the N. I think there's less chance of causing other lockouts this way, and the Mg can be cut with the N late in flowering.

Another idea is to do a 3 or 4-part for Coco, a Grow, Bloom, and 1 or 2 Micros.

Sounds like an awesome concept. I would love to see a 3 part system. An A&B as you described and then a multipurpose enhancement, kind of like Humboldt's Golden Tree that can be used in varying amounts to suit the growers wishes and that does not cost a small fortune...lol

Peace and Great Chemistry

Thanks. That's an interesting idea. I was planning to start with the base, then add boosters and enhancers to the line over time.

I'll look into Golden Tree right now though, I'm not familiar with that one. Your 3-part concept might work nicely.

If this happens, I'll price it reasonably to be competitive. I'm not into hype marketing and saying that other products won't work, etc... And if the coco formula goes well, maybe we'll add ones for recirculating systems and soil later too.

But first we have to mix up some nutes and I have to try it on my plants. I think that will be fun.
