if i put my 2 month old plant in darkness for a day or two? would make it flower faster then just putting it into 12/12?

not necessarily. i have heard of this technique but nothing to really back it up...

its definetly worth a try though!!! if you do decide to do this let me know how it goes. will most likely not do any damage to plants ya know?

i would be interested to know how that goes ? i think the plant might stress- but interesting thought tho ..........

I also veg for eight weeks. I tried this with previous grows, but did not do it with my current grow - there was no difference in the amount of time before I saw pistils. If anything, this time they seemed to show faster.

I give them 30 hours of darkness before switching to 12/12. Plants do most there growing during the dark hours so it gives them that extra time to really finish out the vegetative growth strong.

I personnaly think it would stress it, once the lights came back on. As in nature the sun doesnt "go away" for two day. Hermies beware!!

No, it's a standard technique, giving her a dark patch before going into 12/12.
