no, they would compete with each other until one is left but has only the resources for fruiting that is left after the war
nice I was just wondering if 2 kinds of cube mushrooms would some how combine or something or of the other one would be destroyed I am currently incubating 6 jars i just started yesterday 2 yars each of 3 different kinds of cube B+, Ecuador, and Treasure Coast but i was thinking about doing a couple jars with 2 kinds in it.I've just done it actually with Golden Teacher and Albino A+ in an "x" innoculation pattern. Was hoping for a cake with normal looking fruit and the albino fruit coming out the same cake. As it turns out, only the GT quarters fruited. I should have expected that in any case since AA+ was always difficult to fruit.
If you looks closely you can see the "x" pattern where the 2 strains of mycelium met.

remember also that even a multispore grow from a single cap is also like this to some extent (its like little unique brothers and sisters, each will like something else), and there is competition which leads to less fruiting.
