i am just testing around since im new to growing i just wanna know will 2 40watt flour lights be ok to flower a plant or better to put plants outside?

well if you can put it outside then yeah, but the flours will do the job.

If you want to see any bud, you will need alot more then 2 40w floros per 1 plant.

In complete agrement with Toke. I am about to flower with CFLs, but I have 20,000 lumens plus side lighting in a very compact space.

Your taking the risk and going to the time and effort. Get some light on those babies.

2 40w cfl's would only be about 5500 lumens at most... maybe those are only like 13w cfl's(40w output) and the lumen output is far less... i dunno..

Toke, I am using 10 26w CFL's. See pic + 5 18w tubes. All together they create just under 20,000 lumens. No worries. I am about to add a new twist and about 10,000 lumens under the canopy.
