grow slow... very slow...

if your wanting it to flower right away, that doesn't work, cuz the plant needs to reach a certain maturation before it'll flower...

What would a plant do if from germination its gets only 12/12 ??
i asked this question yesterday...i havent quite found the answer im looking for...im wondering if the plant automatically goes into flowering or do you have to drop the lighting from 12/12 to something else to make it flower

grow damn slow and start to flower after 2-3weeks with a 1/4oz if you lucky, damn lucky. guess that it wouldn't make 8" with bud till harvest, rather 6". and it will only work if you work with a powerful light source, so a 400W HPS is about the starting point. i would only try such as stunt if i got a sea of seeds on my hand since it is wasted power and seeds really.

hold up, but my plants been growing better than average and is on 12/12 since seedling. In about 2 more weeks it'll be ready for flowering. would it start flowering if i keep it on 12/12 or do i have to change the lighting hours

once more, 18/6 (or the not to recommended 24/0) is normally used to veg with, 12/12 is used to flower with. if you bit experienced with growing indoors you can try to stretch lightning hours to 14/10 once flower is established. but basically if you want flower you switch to 12/12 and stick to it.

i should have look for a similar thread but this was more a question to see if anyone has done it befor.
i am growing two little ones at the mo to test what actually happens.
so far its week 3 and there are the second set of nodes ( leaves in opposite direction to the rest) only about 2 cm tall.
i am doing them outside and its comming into to winter here, so there only getting around the 12 13 hour light mark.
