Hi there,
Just wondering what people's opinions where on flowering a plant in seedling soil. I have grown my last plant in seedling soil and perlite and it's nearly time for the final transplant. The root growth through the first half of it's life cycle has been explosive. Transplanting 2 times a week at some points. I think it's due to the loose fine nature of seedling soil in addition to the mykos. Any thoughts or opinions?

Transplanting twice a week? No way.

Seedling soil has done me well full term if i dont have potting soil, it should just be finer weaker and in a lot of cases contain more peat :-)

Signs of Good Cannabis Soil

  • Appears dark and rich
  • Loose texture
  • Drains well (doesn't make a pool on top of your soil for more than a couple of seconds and doesn't take forever to drain out the bottom)
  • Holds water without getting muddy (you want wet soil, not dirt-batter)

You've had bugs crawl through a couple of inches of perlite?
ive had bugs crawl through pretty much anything, ever had fungus gnats before? they even crawl through hydroton in a rez, the only thing they don't crawl thru is diatomatous earth that's like crawling through a bed of glass. I'd imagine sand might work, not sure. Perlite doesn't have anything in it that harms bugs...it's inert.

Hey guys I have a question:
We know that the lighting cycle usually are 18/6 and 12/12; Is auto seeds the same or different? I didnt care much about that before, but I would like to know if it really has some difference here.

I recently would try my the new arrival grow lamp sponsored from marshydro, so before i move it . i hope to get this answer. any inputs would be much appreciated.:weed::weed:

I walk everywhere, no car. Seedling mix comes in small bags so I bring a few home over the course of a few days. Mixed with perlite and flowering mykos. Got the double scrog net installed. Will be flipping to flower in 3-5 days. Just transplanted her today.

Keep your lights on 18/6 and your plant will bud on its own without light manipulation

You’ve installed a SCROG net and want to flower immediately? You need to vegetate the plant into the screen. The point of the net is to help your plant grow horizontally into a level canopy. Throwing a fishing net over top and flowering right away wouldn’t be properly scrogging. In my opinion your screen has too large of grid spaces, and netting like that isn’t going to hold your plant down.

You could always get soil delivered to your house, little bags are expensive!

You shouldn’t need to transplant more than 2-3 times in a plants life, and when you do, it shouldn’t be around when you change your light cycle. Wait for recovery from transplant first.

Pictures below: 1. My SCROG during vegetative growth 1 week before flipping to flower. 70-80% full screen.

2. My SCROG at 2 weeks of flower.

Yes I am fully aware. This is not my first grow. This strain takes 10-12 week's in flower so I have plenty of time to train my plant. The squares are perfect size 3x3 inch. I am also giving my plant 3-5 days to recover from my transplant. My last single plant gave me 6 oz gonna double it with this beauty.
