what week does most bud growth take place?

the last 3. It seems like they grow in spurts. Maybe it just seems that way.

I have seen that most strains will reach a peak in bud formation between 4-6th week for most indica dom varieties, sativa doms peak from week 6-8th week. I forgot to mention that I grew Jack flash outdoor this past season and she peaked at week 6 but the real change comes when she is ready for harvest, MAJOR calyx swelling once the hairs recede.

I own 5 spiral notebooks of personal grow journals, and I only grow Northern Lights.
Always, I see the buds go through a transformation the 4th week, from little flowers of hairs to what looks like a bud, the 4th and 5th week. The 6th week, they get bigger, 7th and 8th, they get tighter and a little longer..

haha, what is it with old guys and NL. I know an older guy and that's all he smokes. Either that or NL5xhaze. It IS some really good smoke though.

I love N/L as the best strain to smoke or to grow. 80% Indica, 20% Sativa makes it grow fast, taller than most other Indicas, very hardy, only 8 and half weeks to flower............yep, give me N/L s everytime.

Maybe. He use to grow 5 different strains. I think S.A.G.E, Nebula, Hash plant, bubblegum, NL, and NL5xhaze.. Now he only really smokes or grows the NL on a regular basis. He gives a lot of it away. He's the guy who taught me, and now he's in a wheel chair and can barely manage his stuff, so I help him out sometimes.

One of the largest indoor plants I've ever seen personally was NL5xhaze. It started in a small rockwool cube. By the end of it, it was 11 or 12 ft tall, and yeilded over a lb. I had a section of the stalk behind my door for years, and it was so big that most people didn't realize what it was. It had a little more girth than a full sized maglite handle.
