What type of bulb is this?

I added this light of curiosity to see if it helps even a little. 60W and made in France is all I know about it. 5 mins after I attached it it got so hot that I cannot have my hands on it for more than 1 second

Looks like a bulb for a heat lamp, like what you'd stick reptiles or french fries under. Def not for growing.
