Good question. It needs to be something that you don't need to look at a lot. Something with lots of voice-over but little action. I suggest any Ken Burns series, especially National Parks. Rick Steves is good to - and he's a stoner.

Forensic Files is really good for this. There is a show called "watching the detectives" that is really good, but only has 5 episodes on Hulu and isn't on torrents. "I survived" is also mostly narrative.

I can't watch TV while trimmng. I'm minding where the little scissors go. But music, oh yeah. I run through some favorite CDs.

I tried cognac once, bad idea...gave up the trimming mid-way through the bottle.
Bet it cleans scissor hash OK though.

I just finished binge watching Farscape, It doesn't matter how close you watch that series, you will be lost regardless

Yeah, let me rephrase my answer. The only thing that you watch if you are trimming are your scissors. What you are considering is actually more like listening to the tv.
