What the heck is this?

It kinda looks like a larvae, maybe a worm? but it is very dark reddish brown with no real 'head' made me think it might be a nematode but its not very long at all. Looking at it through the jewelers loupe I can't find any legs or fur. Just a rigged shell of whatever with no head to speak of. My plant seems ok but I figure I should ask anyways.

I'm clueless and cannot find anything even close on the web except the thc worm. The thing was burrowed inside of a fresh bud I picked off today for test consumption. Some dead matter near the thing but not enough to get upset about. I just want to know what the hell it is and if I need to worry. I know this picture ain't that great, my camera focused perfectly on it several times but every shot I took was blurry. Errgh. It's near the length of a penny. Whatever it is, the thing was kinda dried out and dead when I pulled it off my bud.
