What soil to use?

I have a moby dick fem seed that i will plant outside in the ground but i want to give it a start indoors before i transplant outside, my question is should i dig some soil from the spot where i plan to leave it? Please reply ! Thanks

I always used FFOF when growing in soil.

When you go to plant it outside,dug a hole and replace with a quality soil like FFOF.

No such thing in my area...That's why i want to use the soil i have in my back yard cause it's full of compost and loads of ash like 150kg of wood were burned there so i guess the soil is packed with nutrients.
