What size tent for 3-5 plants?

i can run a 2x4 tent or a 4x4 tent but the cost of the 4x4 is about $250 extra due to the shipping from only 1 supplier.

i am looking to stick to around 3-4 plants i don't grow massive plants usually veg around 5-8 weeks only. right now i grow in a 2x 4-6 area with 3 plants i say 4-6 because they can fit in a 2x4 but i like to space them out a little so the leaves are not over lapping each other.

if you take a look in my grow journal on the very last page of where my plants are currently at that is around the height i am okay with. they will probably be shorter just due to the tents height which will only be 6'7"

any help? don't really have like a visual to really tell and this is my first tent. tried looking up some grows in these tents but everyone seems different some grow like 9 plants in a 4x4 others only growing like 1 or 2.

4x4 would be good for 3-5 plants, if I had my time back I would have went 5x5 tho, just for the extra space for fans and humidifiers and stuff

I'm fitting 4 plants in a 2.5x2.5x6ft tent and my poor girls barely have any room to breathe. I'm upgrading to a 4x4 soon though. Maybe a 5x5 if I can find a good deal.

nice yea i dont want to cheap out on the tent cause idk just the issue with shipping is a headache for me figure if i dont want to deal with this bs again better buy a higher quality first. with lights it's not an issue but the tents for some reason it is. i was super desperate lol bought that mfer once i saw the FREE shipping and the cost of the tent as well. so far cheapest 4x4 was $700 something for me $400 for the tent and 300 for the shipping all the way from florida.

bought my lights from the same company but i think i might get the tent in before i get the lights cause i opted for pre assemble and testing on my lights

Glad you got your tent straightened away man, Gorilla tents are def expensive but everyone that buys them, seems to love them.

I have 5 plants in a 5x5. Veg for 6 weeks to get monsters in 13 gallon DWCs.

For what it's worth, pound for pound i find Hydrolab (not Hydrohut) tents to be the best.

260 for a 4x4 is a lot. Ive yet to witness much difference between the el cheapo ones and the exspensive ones. Obviously the exspensive ones are lovely but its a few strips of fabric backed mylar, some poles and a zip - even low quality will last for years.

One thing that has bummed us out are cheap shite pole connectors, if they break it is a pain in the ass so for heavy loads and bigger tents some quality can avoid a rare light collapsing on your crop then exploding in a fireball and taking out the whole island.

The smaller the tent the cheaper im willing to go is my rule, i only pay rock bottom for those little 2x2 veg tents but a little more for my 4x4s.

Also the market is saturated, a lot of good makes can be had at a bqrgain and better if you can find their previous mark 1 tent when they are doing a mark 2 upgraded version as they normally go the cheapest

Ya i went with Apollo tents, i liked the look of the Gorillas and the Secret Jardins, but not at those prices.

Got mine for 180 cad shipped ...Gorillas were 400 i think

I spent the extra cash on lights and seeds lol

im still expecting them to say the tent is out of stock or they have to charge me an additional amount just to ship it here but if that is the case imma just opt for a cheaper brand. only reason i splurged was cause it's tax money. you know how that shit goes im sure. still got a lot left and i actually saved $500 compared to spending fking $700 for the same size and brand so it was a win win situation regardless for me.

i won't be sad if they can't ship it though still a win since imma save slightly more money buying a cheaper brand only sad part is waiting for that fking return that they took out already.

yea if i get another tent it'll be on the cheaper side but i already bought the gorilla tent wasn't that bad tbh. i'll probably buy a cheaper tent if i plan to do perpetual grows again but had to stop that just due to lighting issues since the way i did it was unrealistic for quality and yield.

How about size NO tent and fuck off to the ventilation issues? No need for a top like that having it all the way enclosed. The light gets reflected down and out from the hood so the tent is just a pointless heat trap. No need for a top

Seems contradictory. Are you using crap lights? I veg in that range and I get monsters.

I started i a 4x4 and quickly moved up to a 5x5 the added size makes a big difference.

In a 4x4 tent you can put from 1 monster plant..LOL..to 25 or more little plants as a SoG method...

The number of the plants will be based on 2 Basic Variables:

1) HOW MUCH TIME YOU WANT TO VEG..and
2) HOW YOU WANT TO TRAIN THESE PLANTS,

So, when you know about these 2 variables, you will be ready to decide how many plants you will put in your tent.

How will you know how to determine this variebles??

Well..Think from the end to the start..how do you imagine your flowering tent before harvest??
You try to make reality, your imagination!..Act in order to make this image that you have in your head, REAL..
