Hello everyone. I have a few bagseed and I was thinking of trying 12/12 from seed in soil. I was wanting to know what size pot for that type of grow? 1 gallon or 2 gallon?

It all depends on how big you plan to grow them and how many you intend to plant in your space. Bigger pot equals more roots. Although with air pots, geo pots, and root pouches (best imo) you can grow good sized plants with smaller pots because of the awesome roots you get with them. Another thing to consider is how you are watering/feeding them and how often you will have to do it. I went to drip feed because I hated hand watering.

Thank you for the reply. Well I have a small tent that is 24x24x55. So its not being used. I was just going to try 12/12 from seed for the fun of it. I know I cant fit many in there. I wanna try and keep them small. So I guess 1 gallon would work? How many would fit in that size tent without over doing it? Again its bagseed and just for fun.

Man I feel stupid. I totally misread the 12/12 from seed lol. :dunce: I am thinking you could get 9 in there with 1 gal. Do a layout to see how many fit the footprint and there's your answer.

Check into Mikrocote Spinout. Although they don't have 1 gallon pots they do sell the paint by the bottle. It just takes a very light coating on the inside of pots.
I personally prefer them to fabric. Same effect but in a plastic container. In my experience lots of fabric pots packed together leads to a mold issue on the pots themselves. Something you want nowhere near flowering girls.
Just throwing that out there.
