What size jars do you cure in?

unfortunately, no, i bought ten and 5 of them were shit, that's why i only have half my jars with them. the 5 that kept working seem reliable though, like they either work or they don't...they agree with each other and my house unit

O4...just run the hole saw in reverse, less aggressive and still cuts thru

I'm facing this same question now. I recently harvested 6 medium sized plants and have about 30 mason jars to contend with. Opening them all for burping is a real pain and takes more time than I'd like. The jars are 32oz and 64oz and just take up a lot of room - lucky I have an empty unused freezer. I'm thinking a food grade 5 gallon bucket and lid are the ticket - example the Home Depot bucket 1/3rd full of larf in picture below.

Air tight glass jar, similiar to the ones used in dispensarys

That type of jar is what i use, watcha finger lol

I use the red top Tupperware’s. Usually a lb fits in each one and for my purposes, they work great

I cure in 5g buckets with Gama seal lids with a RH gauge cut into the top.

Thanks guys. I am leaning towards the 5 gallon bucket for simple ease of use.

Big harvest. Tukey and goose bags can help.
Paper bags. Buckets too.

I fill them up about 75% , give them a little roll n a shake n done .

So easy to just walk by n look, see if any needs burped.

Well man, i usually use plastic jars of protein which are lightproof, airproof and the material is friendly for the weed, as its frienly for the protein which is consumed by the human..
About the size idk..about 10 Litres, and i fill the 3/4 of them..
Also this way let me to avoid having TOO MANY little glass jars.

I never thought of using protein containers but that’s a great idea. Put a couple jumbo Bovedas in there.

I use 1.5 gallon flip clamp jars

Looks like a method that works. I’d try that myself. Does a lot of hash stick to the sides of the bucket or not really?

Not really , there is a little I scoop up with my finger n put into the next joint . I don’t go crazy when I shake them, more of a roll n bumps to make sure they are not sticking together and to add air pockets .

I like to hang till the outside is crisp, then trim & into the bucket , once I see it at 70ish I’ll put on a drying rack till the outside feels right , the back into the buckets n burp when they get above 62% . I would test any RH gauge with a known humidity pack in a empty bucket, mine are all out 1-3% then write it on the lid so you member .
Buds turn out nice n cured

you can test hygrometers with a small dish of damp salt in a sealed container. fill a shotglass with salt, add enough water to get it damp but not soaked, and seal the container with it and your hygrometers inside. in a couple of hours they ought to read 75% and stay there....adjust accordingly.
