what size hydro system to get and which HPS 250w or 400w??

Have been debating which size system to get both for cost and space for plants reasons. I was going to get a ebb and flow 1x1 system for bout $120 or for $100 more i can get a jetflo 2x2 Flood and Drain system... Also not sure how much watts to get? Was thinking about getting Sun System 2 - 250 Watt HPS(Dimensions: 22 1/2” Long x 12 3/4” Wide x 7 1/2” Tall) for about $220 or Econowing 400w HPS(Dimensions: 20 in.long x 14 1/2 in. wide x 4 1/4 in. tall )about the same price? Im only going to be growing 3-5 ladies at a time! I know i have the space for both systems just dont know if the 400w would be more then what i need? I also heard and please correct me if im wrong that you can use a same Wattage bulb MH bulb in a HPS fixture, is that true?

i would say its better to get the biggest and best your room and wallet will allow cause it sucks having to up grade after the first grow. And trust me you'll want to. I'd go with a 3x3 table and a 600hps (yes it will power a MH) youll be real happy and have room for 8-10 plants if you like

Yea i was thinking about just getting the 400w hps and the 2x2 system because im really not going to do more then 4 ladies at a time! Would i have enough room for the 4 of them in a 1x1 system or should i just get the 2x2?? thanks again!

You'll be real happy with your yield taking 4 girls to harvest under a 400w and you shouldn't have any heat problems with a 400w either but you may if you go higher wattage and you are not venting.
