Smart pots are more expensive but they look the most sturdy, im an indoor gardener aswell.

Hopefully both of you guys are indoor growers, if so what do you use to keep them off the ground so the bottom can dry

Root pouches are a sponsor for the party cup competition here on riu, figured that'd be worth mentioning... but with that being said I also have a smart pot and some cheapo no name fabric pots from Amazon.
I don't really worry about keeping the bottoms dry, I used to have a saucer and now I just have a mat that absorbs any runoff.

I've used a few different fabric pots, and they all seam to grow the same, so I prefer the cheaper ones. To keep my floors dry, I use a hydro tray with top feeding using Blackhole watering sprayers. http://www.blackholeshydro.com/?page_id=36.

Smart Pots sit in plastic planter trays.

Plastic trays also mine dry pretty quick so I don't worry about bottom being over saturated

awesome thanks guys, before i read the last 2 i ended up buying 10 5 gallon smart pots it was roughly 55 dollars which doesnt seem to bad
