what route of lighting shiuld i go?

I've got two plants right now under two 4ft flouros and then I've got 10 younger plants under some other flouros and then 10 more even younger under a few cfls. Before they all get bigger I wanna get my lighting game up. I'm working with an average size shower as my grow space and Idk which route of lighting to take. Any help is appreciated.
 
a 400 watter would be a good choice for that area IMO. I use a 400 watter for my veg area which is alot bigger than a shower and get good results. Then i move them to 2 1000w hps's for the business side of the grow.:mrgreen:
 
It is necessary to use a full spectrum setup like mine with a change out of an extra red bulb. the Fuji purple are by far the best lights for dual spectrum.. and red to balance for flowering. unfortunately the procolors are no longer available anywhere i can find. so the red sun bulbs do well in their stead. you CANNOT use just the red.. read my thread and youll understand.
 
Thanks a lot that was a lot of help. I'm pretty sure you just made my mind up for me. I have to have an electronic ballast to run those right?
