IMO- I'd get a soil pH tester there cheap.

under 6 m8 need it up to about 6.5. to 7 for ph i tend to drop it to 6.2 for the last 3 weeks of flowering but thats me

I've got.... sorry had a ph meter till I stood on it this morning still half asleep... R.I.P my ph meter ya know what Zander I've been told and red so many different takes in the ph thing 5.5 6.0 6.5 it leave me scratching my head is at in the corner with my busted ph meter lol

see from what i hear a lote is 5.5 - 7 so 6.5 is best but do you test the run off water for its ph ? an the meter you use i dont like them they tent to tell the wrong ph most of the time lol

Can I use that soil meter to test my water before I pour it on my plants?

No its not made for water. Optimum soil pH is between 6.5 and 6.8. Anything higher or lower usually locks out nutrients.
