What number can I call and talk to someone about the status of my application?

I applied online in January 2018 and received a letter about an arrest that wasn't mine. So I contacted that state and received a certified letter stating that I had no arrest. I also needed to have my physician resend the documents that are required.
How can I contact them? What number do I dial and any advice on getting through to them.
