What lighting to use!!!

I did this yesterday, it was the best way to utilize all my equipment so let me know what you think. I could get the best of both worlds. Use the two 315lec to veg and when its time to flower throw my hortilux 1000w hps in the sunsystem hood. Then use all 3 to flower the 4x8. What do you think?

If you can manage the heat then go for it. I might be inclined to raise the 1000watter slightly higher than the 315s to blend the spectrum and get a bit more coverage.
Should be good.
Interesting to see if there is a difference in either trich production or bud size and density as you go further from the centre of the tent. :bigjoint:

That's the issue in the shortygrow gorilla tent i only have a height of 5’8 I can’t get the 1000w any higher. So should i do the three 315 lec instead just to be safe???

Nah keep it as it is. See how it performs as is.
It will be more light as is than 3x 315s no doubt.

No doubt I appreciate that. Lets just hope the heat doesn’t get crazy luckily i wont be blooming until sept-oct so hopefully that a help me out beating the summer. I have a 315 left over so I’m going to put that in my 4x4 with some supplemental cfls in all 4 corners and see where that a get me

I like the way you have it set up now it should work good as long as you keep your plants trained short enough to not get burned under the 1k. I think I would personally turn that 315 on the right around so that the bulb is closer to the outside wall, then it would match up equally with the other one.
