What light should I get for a bigger tent?

I just wrapped up my last harvest a few weeks ago and buds are currently curing. I’m running 2 autos that a week in and I thought now might be a good time to upgrade so I can have more vertical space. I’m looking at the vivosun 2.7x2.7 grow tent, but I don’t want to use there light. I wanted to try spider farmer or mars hydro. Do they work with the e43 grow hub controller from vivosun? I’m upgrading from a 2x2x4, so I’m going to be using all the same equipment, inline fans, etc. my question is what light that is around 200 watts that works with the grow hub controller and produces amazing results? I managed to pull 89 grams from a 100w so bigger is better right? I want maybe a half pound per plant or close to it if that helps any

Id use mars hydro fc1500 or fce series. I do for my vivisun thats 60”x 32” listed as a 5x2. Its really a 2.5x5 which are my favorite and increasingly hard to find. 2.5x2.5 is even harder but 2.7x2.7 sounds great Id probably buy it when I need new one. Then I use a 3x3 just for extra power but I still only get like 7.9oz with a viparspectra at 75%.

It used to burn my clones so just did 50% but last run got it up to 75. So more light isnt always better infact it causes me issues. Just the right amount of light, I dont think theyll fuss. I do 7oz clones its a nice pull but takes effort and skill to avoid mold and etc.

So a 7-8oz clone for a 2.5x2.5 space, any more space just helps with air flow and leaving some thinner colas on for extra yield. It dont add up to a whole lot more though. For sure genetics matter, its just what I work with but there are genetics that could do a pound in that same space. Have to find and clone it though for best results Id say.

Id still keep the setup the same though. Its not more light giving more yield its the genetics.

Its Both. More light=more harvest. But, one also must have a constant fresh air exchange, or the plant(s) will not be able to use all of the light, and will get stressed out.

The SUN, is 2100umol, and the ambient CO2 in the air, is 421ppm. Seedlings outside, get blasted from day one, will 2100umol. Outside, though CO2 is only 421ppm, it is constant, and there is so much of it, a plant will never be short of O2, outside, even though ppm, may be considered low.

New experiments have also intimated, seedlings can indeed do better under up to 900 umol, inside. But again, one must have adequate fresh air exchange. I saw one study that says 1500umol, and 86f, is the optimum scenario, for marijuana metabolism. And this is with NO CO2.

I blast my seedlings from day one, with 1000w Hortilux Blue, or a 1000w Hortilux HPS, or, a DE Gavita 1150w. Halide/HPS are at 20-24 inches, and the DE Gavita is at 45 inches. I let the plants grow into the intensity. If I notice stress, I raise the lights. But, I usually dont have a problem with light stress.
But, IMO Genetics, Strong Light, lots of root space, and Environment, are the main contributors to a huge yield.
