i will be growing small plants 2 to 2-1/2 ft at harvest.

veg area 2 x 3 x 7ft tall

flowering area 2 x 4 x 7ft tall

here are a couple different light setups for each areas i was thinking of, please pick one set-up for me. each line is a different set-up... iam not putting all them lights in each chamber (example uses the 2 x 400 hps for flowering and 1x 250 Mh for veg). they will be cooled with cool tubes..what do you think the best set-up is? all input is welcomed....thanks

For your vegging room I'd just get some T-5s in their. They're fairly cheap, create little heat, and work well enough for vegging. I wouldn't waste the money on a MH bulb, plus hood, and ballast (that just me though). You'll save a good deal with the T5's in the long run. You definitely want to stick with the HPS for flowering. For vegging I just don't see the need for a MH since T5s work well enough. Nothing really can replicate a HPS bulb yet for fruiting (except for the sun).

is the T5's better then Mh bulbs in the respect of :

growing better?

faster?

or about the same in both catagories?

or good on one catagory but not on the other?

wattage?

mutliple or sinlge hps?

or a combo of hps and Mh
