What kind of natural soil is the best?

Hello,

I've dug a few holes in the forest, it's a nice spot exposed to a lot of sun. Anyway, there are a lot of little stones below the surface, so it creates some kind of drainage, but the soil feels very moist. I will also add my own soil to these holes. Each hole will contain 20 litres of proper soil. I am thinking that for the vegetative phase, this will be enough and then when flowering roots will be strong enough to find their way in between that pebbles/soil mix.

This is something I will use http://www.melamin.si/en/products/end/default.html . It is called agro gel, it comes in small crystals which expand a 100 times when in tough with water. They keep water in, so the roots can suck water from them. It is 100% safe for growing. It is not cheap but it might save a plant or two during hot summer days. Also it is reusable and lasts around 3 to 4 years. Must have for those who have difficult access to water.
Please have a look at this pdf, it's in language you will not understand but, look at the photos and you will get the idea. http://www.kovinar-trgovina.si/katalogi/katalog_agrogel.pdf

What do you think?

I usually use composted horse manure but I'm very impressed with the ocean forest foxfarm my cousin is using. It could be the solluble mychorizae I watered his plants in with too but the leaves are fucking huge! It reminds me of giant world on Mario 3. I've grown out that same strain before and the leaves wheren't even that big by harvest. The animals love diggin up that foxfarm though because it has fish in it. I think those crystals look neat but for less money you could order some soluble mychorizae from fungiperfecti. c o m that will hold moisture just as good, and boost your plants 500 - 800%

black kow and some fox farms, espoma is good and so is promix, anything with sea kelp, guanos, manure and all that good stuff, not too hot for seedlings though. id use just black kow or promix for seedlings, then mix in hotter nutes like FF. FF also sells light warrior, a soil thats rich but light on nutes. many companies sell these mediums too.

i compost all my soil although, adding your own bat guano or worm castings/adding worms to the compost. i also add food, any fruit, juices, sugary drinks, about everything except meat. eggshells are also very good for calcium. adding the roots of plants around your yard will also enrich your soil with microbes, keep it moist and water it with rainwater or good pH water.

stay far away from slow release nutrients.
