What kind of lights to use for growing?

I've been using a combo of 2 T-12 6500K fluorescents and 2 23W CFLs..
What kind of CFL bulbs should i use? I've been told that 6500K for veg and 2700K for flowering, but i don't know if this is true.. I'm about to move into the flowering stage and need some advice! Thanks!

You are correct about the 6500k and 2700k.
When you move to flowering i would supplement maybe 1 of your CFL's or one of your tubes in your T12 for a 6500k
Help them stay greener for longer.

Something which i am doing is using a 600w HPS with a 6400K 125w CFL when i enter flowering.
