What kind of lemon juice do you use as a PH down?!

Hey all, went and picked up a couple bottles of lemon juice concentrate, although the acidity it gives goes away in a matter of minutes. Now, we switched apple cider vinegar, in substitute for the lemon juice, should we have stayed with the ACV or try a different lemon juice, if lemon juice is better can anyone please tell us what Brand / Kind were looking for.

Thanks, W N L.

I'm all about going the tricky route but I have to ask, why don't you buy some pH adjustment crystals or solution? $8-15 and lasts a long time.

We have the PH down chemical just doesn't last as long as we would like it to. The ph crystals would you be able to read what the PH is right after putting them into the res? Also, where can you get them, like amazon?

Something is causing your PH to rise. it's not a matter of which chemical will hold the proper PH longer. I tried vinegar during my first grow and it eventually caused root slime.

how long does your solution stay at 5.8 before it rises?

I had terrible results with apple cider vinegar. It made a nasty buildup in my res, and didn't work nearly as good as pH down. If you only have to drop it a little bit, it might work a little better. I never tried lemon juice, but I'd strain the fuck out of it. I wouldn't want any pulp in my res.

Life is chalenging enough without trying to re-create the wheel.
Get some ph Buffer solution and focus on more "interesting" parts of growing........

I feel you on that, but in order to smoke, the grow needs to go according to plan, it kinda works hand in hand xD.

But looking into the crystals more than likely going to try them out, thanks for the help guys, but we weren't trying to find away around using the regular PH downer/upper but we are looking for something more along the lines of just stabilizing everything ;)
