Hello Rollitup. what kind of lamp is this ? 400 watt is the only thing i know

Looks like a HPS bulb. There should be some sort of label on that ballast.

Can't really tell, turn it on and take a pic. If the color of the lamp is blue its likely a Metal Halide. If its orangish its probably an HPS bulb. Is there any writing on the ballast or near or on the base of the bulb?

HPS.

MH are bigger bulbs that look prego

definitely an HPS!

PS: This looks like a street lamp from the way it's mounted.
