Hello people I have 8 bright effects 23w 1600 lumens 6500k cfls. I also have 3 y connectors to put 2 bulbs in one socket. I don't know what type of fixtures I should use. I'd like to start my seedings using them and I'm also going to use them for flowering. I have a Home Depot and Lowes in my area. If someone could give me some guidance it would be great. Oh yea as for the seeds I have 20 Malawi Gold seeds, 10 Alaskan Ice Seeds, 5 Arjans Haze # 2 seeds, 1 G-13 Gigabud seed, and 5 G-13 Super Skunk Seeds. Has anyone tried either of these? If so please let me know how they were. Thank you for your help.

put those lights in has small has a reflective area you can find like a rubbermaid container or a cabinet painted white or lined with mylar and a nice fan and some ventilation and your all good

ive seen people make their own reflectors out of baking pans and what not. What i would do is just put one of those Y plugs in a clamp on reflector ($20), buy three of them and get some good airflow on them. Its easy to cool CFLs but if your not careful they burn real hot.

I get that point I just don't know what fixtures I could get or use to put the lights in
IE. where to screw them in.

forsure. Im talking about the clamp on reflectors that are shaped like metal bowls. You can get them at Lowes or Hope Dump. They work well and are cheap. Goodluck!

Yea I was there earlier today and I wasn't sure if those were the ones. I wish I would have picked them up. I'd like to get one of those circular ones but I don't know how to wire them for power.
