What kind of fan would i need

If I have a growtent 60cmx60cmx120cm and I am running a single 250w cfl what kind of fans should i use for intake and exhaust?? I am going to be using a 4" carbon filter.

Thats like 15-16 Cubic Feet so maybe like a 50+ CFM fan.. since youre running a CFL that should work fine

thanks for the quick response, yeh its like 13 cubic feet, would I need an intake and an exhaust if I use this 80cfm exhaust fan?? http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=1806

my exhaust fan will be pulling through a 5'' carbon filter?

You should have an intake, but make sure the intake is less CFM than exhaust.

ok that clears that up for me, thanks a lot. not starting quite yet still live at home with the family and its always been to much hassle, tryed 2 get one going a while ago but mum was suspicious, i move out this summer and have £250 to spend. got a pretty sweet setup for that i think!

The same kind of fan that is used in a bathroom or kitchen to get rid of steam created by the shower or cooking in the kitchen.Just go into your local d.i.y store and ask for a exaust fan that has a 4 ince ducting connector on it.This should easy be ample size for a tent of that size.

yeh i know what kind of fan u mean tyke, im just worried that would be to strong and i would end up havin too low temps in my grow room. i live in ireland so temps arent great even in the summer.
