I'll bet more info would be helpful - age,environment, food? Could it be too much nutes, a lot of browning tips?

No dude, no browning tips, i havent used any nutes at all just water, well that was till i came home and saw this, but last night was the only time they have ever had nutes. they are in some just natural organic soil that i picked up from walmart, i have them in about a 6-8 inch pot, all i have been giving them is water. 77f degrees High is 79f degrees, humidity is at 41% high 47%, 400w mh light on them 18/6, light is about 16 inches away from the top of the plant, and i dont know the exact date but it was around June 1st when i planted them.

Have you ph'd your water? Could be locked out? That makes it sound like a lack of nutes, though, not a burn - I'm not very good at this!!

I just got in my PH meter, the PH up and downs, Floranova Grow and Bloom, and my PPM meter. Right now i am using water from my brita filter. Is that bad? I gave them their first dose of nutes last night and it might sound crazy but i can already see a difference.
BTW, water locked out? Does that mean that the plants arent getting enough PH from the water?

The nutes are absorbed at different PH levels. I'm in coco and ph to hydro levels, soil will be different. Your ph needs to swing a bit, hydro is 5.8 to 6.3 or so, soil is higher around 6.5. You'll notice that nice shine start forming on the leaves when you get things right! Research and ph all the water she ever gets! Nice start!

Go slow while ph'ing. I'm not sure I do it correctly but I'll test, wait a while, test, if same results show, I'll adjust or stir a while then wait & test again. Some people wait like 24 hrs! I'll usually take about an hour if I've changed something. After a few waterings you'll know how much you need, still test though.

Ive noticed there is shine on the top leaves but not the lower ones. But i pretty much need to do some more research and trial and error? And what is deformed new growth? I appreciate all of your help too man. Thanks so much. Should i be trimming the plant? Cause it seems like there are some big leaves blocking light from the other leaves, or should i just leave them alone?

You'll notice a couple new leaves have a twisted vein running from the stem to the leaf tip. It's small, i've had worse, but that's stress. I don't know what kind, I hope someone will take a look & chime in.
Certain things are best left alone & just researched & tried out for yourself - yes I trimmed my plant and think it's helped mine. My $0.02! That question stirs things up sometimes!

I'm not a pro - still got a lot to learn. I am burning what I grew, so that's something!
What I done was stripped the bottom 1/3 of the stem! Really hurt until I put them in flower, about a 10 days later.
I left maybe eighth to a quarter inch below my cut. I tried to make 90* cuts for a smaller wound. Be sure to clean your blade/scissors with alcohol before starting. Any branch 2-4 inches long will make clones. Cloning isn't as hard as you may think. A lot of ways so a lot of onfo, pick one & go for it! I had real good success from a bubble cloner - search for diy $20 cloner. It's made from a coffee can & it works.
