What kind of bulbs are reptile heat lights?

For instance types of lights are CFLs and HPS and stuff, i was wondering what kind of light the reptile DayGlow lights are.... My friend thought he could grow pot with his reptile light instead of replacing his CFL that burnt and his 1 ft plant died within days of switching from his burnt out CFL.... I looked all over to find the answer but could only find advertisements thanks guys

repti glow lamps are what your looking for. they put out UVB light. but your still gonna need some CFLs to grow weed along with the repti lamps. just google it man.

yeah i was thinking that it did have powerful light but you deff need CFLs to go with it...thanks
