what is wrong with my grow...first time ever happend

my set up is 20 3 gal pots with happy frog i did a recipe of dololite lime 1 tbspn per gallon and 1 cup per gallon of chunky perlite . also added bout one inch of chunchy perlite in the bottom of the pot for good drainage. i hand wand feed them when needed

My rapist ph soil reader broke so iv been using my ph pen to test the run off when i water , the highest level of ph is 8.3 and the rest 7.5 ...

So my question is... are my plants stunned and wont grow cuz of ph levels or the 3 gal is too little and grew the max it can ina 3 gal pot? i read that u can put dolomite on the top of the pots.... anybody wanna help out

my guess is ph lockout i've seen bigger plants out of a 3 gal pot 8.3 or even 7.5 is high especially for a soil grow

k good i was thinking it was the pots , would phng the run off be a good reading to know wat ph ur soil is?

u can but i have heard its not the most accurate..i personally purchased a soil test kit...regardless since ur ph is high i would flush with water anywhere between 5.5 and 6.5 to lower ur ph...get ph down and just make sure u adjust ph after adding nutes

what nutrients are you using?

my current grow is off of GH 2-part flora duo (lucas formula) along with AN bud blood, big bud, bud candy, overdrive, and i like final phase for flushing...i have tried many other nutes though...this grow was more of a budget grow since i had bills to pay but honestly im impressed with the results so far for the money..

6.5-6.8 is pH for soil. anything higher will cause lock outs

flush them good with pH 6 water until the runoff is 6 and then start over with a fresh batch of 6.5 pH solution...repeat once pH gets back to 7-7.2
