Got some blue dream that went south, all my other plants are fine. all got the same nute schedule, wasn't anything extreme. Is this nute burn or a deficiency??? Thanks00000000111112222.jpg

Could it have been from low ph in my soil? That would have made it deficient right?? So would a flush be better than giving more nutes?

The problem with the crispy, brown leaf parts is very likely caused by Phosphorus (P) deficiency. The fact that those crispy, brown portions seem to be mostly on the leaf blade edges instead of focused at the blade tips, may mean that there is some Potassium (K) deficiency as well. Phosphorus is the main nutrient to add more of, but extra Potassium would be a good idea as well.

While incorrect pH can certainly make things worse, there's no way that was caused by pH alone. You should never flush unless you're sure there is a toxicity or as the last watering before harvest. Every soil grower should have at least one, preferably two ways to test soil pH. If you are sure the soil pH is off, you should neutralize the problem rather than try to wash everything in the soil away.

Great info. thanks for the explanation. Sorry more questions. is there any signs of over-fertilization there??? I was running pretty high 1000-1400ppm for about the last month. I am about 10 days from harvest and started flushing so I hope its not too bad. but none of my other plants did this...just the blue dream. I always have a few strains going, but l have never seen this before. Never had Blue Dream either, seems finicky?!?!?

Also read that a low ph can cause metallic micronutrient toxicity (Fe,Mn,Zn,Cu) because they become more soluble at a low ph. I think I ran my nutrient ph too low for too long and the problems just snowballed.

Overfertilization shows up on the lowest and oldest leaves first as those are closest to the toxic nutrient levels in the soil. Since the pic is from the top, there's no way to be sure of any overfertilizing. It's the same situation for any toxicity in the soil.

Some strains need more of certain nutrients than others during flowering. This one is probably a lost cause if you are that close to harvest. I'm sure it'll be decent but I really wouldn't try too hard with it. If you fixed deficiencies the plant has, it would shoot out new bud growth that would never have time to mature before you harvest.

Thanks again for helping me with the information. Yeah I went ahead and pulled it about a week early. Doesn't smell like it should, aroma isn't nearly what a healthy plant would produce. Buds are pretty fat, but this is gonna end up as butter probably.
