what is this?

day 51 of flower.
g-13 haze, feminized seeds from barneys in ams.
girls look real good, this is my first grow!
i have never seen or read about this, but on a couple of the fan leaves there are a "weird" little leaf coming out, and under magnifying glass, i can see tricomes.
any idea's what? why? how?
is this normal? is it the designer strain?
do all females do this?
anybody that can help,,
makes me wonder when i "DO" harvest,, should i still take down all the fan leaves?

I would say be patient and let it continue to grow, time will tell. Nice close up pic.

Sometimes they grow weird for no aparent reson.

Just looks like an extremely healthy plant trying to find somewhere to send it's goodies to me.
I have a buddy with a successful grow room and I have to admit I've never seen something just like that, but I have seen "odd growths"
I think it might be a result of a little bit much plant inbreeding taking effect myself. Seriously doubt it'll harm anything though... if enough of them pop up looks like a op to make some hash possibly.

the arguement is if mutilated plants are gold or garbage...i personally think that certain female mutants are prob the link to m ore potant plants

well,, i haven't harvested YET.
so potency is not known,, but i can tell you the buds have a freakin LOT of tricombes, i think more then i see in other pics,,,so the question still remains.
is this normal, have you or anyone ever seen this on fan leaves??
