What is this thing?

So these guys have kept coming more frequently and I have an idea of what they are but I want some second opinions. I think they might be thrips? I've seen some other smaller bugs at the nodes hiding but they don't seem to be doing much damage.

not thrips, looks like a fungus gnat, but probably an aphid. i have never had aphids, so i can't say for sure.

and after looking at images of black root aphids on google. i'm pretty sure that is what you got

New species of brain eating fly. Comes from China. Where ear muffs to bed.

Buddy of mine just lost his whole crop (during flower) to those fuckers. You need to kill those fuckers fast!

But they dont look like that they honestly look like a mixture of the two black wings long slender build but idk I dont see any aphids on the leaves or near the roots
