What is this growth?

It's the only one I see on the plant. What is it? Should I clip it off?



EDIT: I think I found the answer that it is just the swelling of the calyx.

It's a preflower aka a single calyx

Yea it's my first grow. I knew it was female a while ago. Just this being swollen like that is a new site.

Once it's fully matured and cured nicely send me a large sample of those and il do some independent smoking.....oops I'm mean studies to help you figure it out

That growth is evidence the plant is female. If the plant were to get pollinated ("eeeeeK!) that would become a seed.
