its an insect, thats all I can tell, a spider mite maybe?

na not sure what it is but definitely not a spider mite

Could it be an immature fungus gnat? I just discovered fungus gnats the other day.

yea i had problems with them to but there a lot smaller that what that bug looks like

that picture was taken with either a 30x or 50x, that blue line is the line on a piece of college ruled paper for reference. Could it be?

I call root aphid.


Or some other kind of aphid....

Its in between juvenille and adult stages in that picture.

I have to agree on this one. Looks very much like root aphids.

Check out the two black tailpipes on the back. Dead give away of root aphid. They come in all colors but the main give away is the tailpipe shaped things protruding out its back end. Rosenthal's book on growing shows these lil fuckers in detail. Youre pic looks like it was pulled directly from the book. Not good, Hope you took care of that lil bugger..
