Hi so I'm growing some star dog clones and they're in 10 gal or 7 gal pots. I transplanted them last week from a 1gal and they were pre flowering. It is now a week later now they are put into flower, and I watered with a tea and induced flowering with insect grass and foliar the same as the feed(boogie brew).

So it's on 12/12 now under a kind xl1000 watt led in a 5x5 area and under a trellis.
It was under 100 percent blue white, and 45 percent blue.
A friend came over and promptly told me that my spectrum should be containing blue (35%) and white (60-75%) and keep red high (80-85%) for making flowers and entering the stage of flowering. So ive adjusted it to 35 blue 100 red and 75 white, but my buddy never explained really why his spectrum he showed me specifically is beneficial for early flowering or entering the flower stage.
I do know what blue light does to your plant, and red and white as well.

So my question is now that it's flowering
Why did my friend tell me to adjust it to that, also is there a better color ratio than what I was told? Basically asking and bare with me, what do i set the red (0-100% intensity) the blue (0-100%)and what should i put the white onto (0-100%).

Bare with me im a newbie this is my very first time around so I'm in need to reach out to fellows.
What do you guys think and heres progess of the 10 week old girls into it's first week (day 3) of flower.

Ok thanks guys I hope I do well! Btw for temps it's 80-90F and 30-50%humidity.

dude, your friend is right, you should keep red high for making flowers, the blue is only very helpful in VEG. white are blue covered with a yellow phosphor, these warm colors for flowering and save the cooler colors for vegging our plants:lol:

So for the spectrum what percentages for the blue white red would you think is reasonable since you seem to also be knowledgeable. Right now because of what people told me they are on 100/100/100 full blast and 12th day of flower. So approaching the end of week 2 and idk what do u think. Lower it now or wait till week 4 when it's done stretchin'?

I have always kept my k5 750 at 100% all three channels. I'm on crop 3 since buying it, pretty good results so far 8 oz last one, the current batch is about done also.

I don't know how those kinds work, can you have all the lights dimmed so there is less draw, less heat in there?
Those high temps are going to cause more problems than tweaking the spectrum will help any.
Tweaking your spectrum may make a bit of gain here or there but having temps hitting 90f is going to ruin your potential harvest and reduce any gain you are wanting from spectrum.

Yeah only having it at 90 when co2 is added forgot to mention. As is it's comfortable at 78 at bought at a high of 83 during the days with rh around 30-50%
Depends on the day and how often I can't my central air and I'm always extracting through my exhale. The kind makes no difference for heat it is a low heat running led so it was on full blast. You are able to change all the colors from zero to a hundred percent also so I have my red at 100 white at 89 and blue at 70. Thanks for the knowledge though will keep those temps happy!:) and stay high!!!

Here is the 2nd crop, still have a lot to learn about indoor. I think that next year I'll not grow indoors during jul, aug, sept, temps are usually in high 70s / high 80s but there were a few that were into the 90s. The buds don't look quite as good as these, well see.
