What is the best light wattage to achieve maxium growth???

I have 6 white widow and 6 grand daddy purple plants and trying to get 224 grams per plant. What is the best number of wattage light I need to achieve this and how tall should I let them grow? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
