Oh okay thank you! That's my first plant and it's really gone through the ringer. It has survived no matter what I have done! It's about 3 months old and just starting to have a major growth spurt. Been on 12/12 for 2 weeks. Just assumed I would have been able to determine the sex by now! Thank you for your help
So if you switch it from 12/12 back to 18/6 you're forcing the plant to go all the way back into a vegetative cycle (and I'm not even sure if you've ascertained it sex yet)?..be aware this is an extreme plant stressor if you make that change

Omg I already changed the light cycle for today. How much damage did I do? Can I go back to flower or is it too late

Lol you can switch back, it won't have even have realised you have switched it yet, these things usually take a few days to take effect I wouldn't stress so much about it been male as it takes ages to get to the pollen stage, I would just give it another week or 2 and just see. No point in pulling it out if you are not 100% sure its a male. better of waiting.

Also switching back to 18/6 is NOT an extreme plant stresser specially when it hasn't even switched to flower yet. I've screwed up light cycles for a week and the plants didn't even notice.
an extreme stress would be very cold temps or extreme heat, or say no light for a few days or no water. Be careful what you say to new growers or you will freak them out.

I'd be more worried where those miniature lolly pops are coming from

2¢ ....

If you began in 12/12 , and it’s SEXXING OUT and now you just threw it a curve by forcing the longer 18/6 back where it probably should have been will now cause it a few issues.

It IS a stressor to pull the rug from under a plant that is switching hormonal changes to ready itself to transition. 18/6 will begin a reveg after awhile . And CAN cause hermies.

Most will be sexually mature around 5 weeks or so. I would have said to keep it on 12/12 as some growers do ( called from seed ) when it hits maturity it will either throw nuts or pistils. If you get both , you got a herm.

You should take a cutting from the top and veg that out in case it is a female so you can run perpetual if you are impatient to flower for your next grow just take a cutting from the top and throw the cut into 12/12 won’t need roots to show sex

I'd just stop worrying and just let it grow lol, the plants look extremely healthy, to me it hasn't started flowering yet by the looks of those lollipop pictures. It's not an auto seed is it ? I made that mistake on my first batch of orders buying auto flowering seeds and those just flower when ever they are designed to genetically no matter what you do with the lights.

Oh I was treating them like normal seeds, and I couldn't figure out for the life of me how they were flowering under 16/8 lighting haha. I was going through google, all the weed forums and youtube it was doing my head in, then someone mentioned you probably have autos  sure enough I went back and found the order and they were autos :( that was the first batch of kids that never grew to their full potential

I've only just moved house a month ago so had to pull the grow room completely down and pack it all away. but I did sprout 2 seeds from a seedbank that I found in the bottom of a drawer that were fem dinachem's I think I posted up 1 of them in this thread earlier. 1 of the 2 seeds was either a male or hermied, so I've just put the first 2 clones outside to flower to check if they will also be female or male ( picture 1), and then got 2 more clones about 3 weeks old and then cut 4 more clones yesterday. So hopefully I can pin point which plant was the male or hopefully they will all just turn out female
