Light Deprivation possibly... from an illiterate. In what context was it used?

yup - light deprivation - inducing the plants to flower earlier than they would naturally by creating "night" conditions - i.e. blacking out the sun's light before it has set.

So is it a good thing to do light depo?

Im asking this as I dont do any Green House or outside grows, only indoors. And yea I mentioned outside grow and the dude asked me "is it light depo?"

I assume light depo would be the 12/12 light schedule that us indoor growers know so well.
