What Is It?

Phosphorus? Potassium? I can't figure it out. Fox Farm Soil ( Ocean Forest) and using 2 tsp of Grow Big. It's in the Vegetative stage and only a couple of weeks old past sprouting. The edges become dark like this, but not all of the edges, and it also begins at the tips of the leaves. Much apreicated if any help in diagnosing this problem.View attachment 1689540View attachment 1689544

2 weeks in and you fed it? Nute burn is likely the cause. I'm no expert though. Most people say wait until 3 weeks in soil at least to feed and usually only when your bottom leaves begin to yellow evenly from an obvious N deficiency.

I'm not feeling nute burn here. I've fed plants within a few days of popping by foliar feeding them and didn't have this problem. Seems to me it's a deficiency of some sort. Nute burn normally turns a rustic brown. This particular picture is of one a couple of weeks old but I can show some photos of month + plants exhibiting the same problems. Maybe you're right, but I don't see nute burn here.

Thanks bro. You've always been bang on with all of your help. +rep again.

Won't let me rep you at the moment. I'll hit you up sometime soon. Thanks again.

I don't think it nute burn! It looks more like a deficiency cause by the fluctuation of your ph, most likely on the low side:lol: You can confirm this by the next time you water catch the first cup of run off and check the ph of it. I believe the run off test is fairly accurate for ph but I'm not so sure it works for ppm's Half the grower on here swear by ffof the other half thinks its messed up. I had great grows with it but the last few were horror story:lol:

Yea I agree. I think I'm going to switch. One thing about any nutrient is if they're left in high heat it will kill much if not all of the nutrients in them. I am not sure how nutrients get transferred in semis without getting so hot in them. I should only have to use the FF and the Grow Big and that's all I really need. Worked in the past but lately as you say , somethings amiss. I was told not to worry about the run off and just worry about what goes in there. This came from someone who has never led me wrong before, but who knows.
