i recently planted 3 bag seeds 3 weeks ago that are going fine going on 6th node, 2 og kush, 2 lemon kush and 1 bubblicious auto. about a 10 days ago. the og's are going fine on their 3rd node and so it one of the lemon kush, but the other 2 are stunted an the kush is even deformed popping out round leaves. they are all n the same organic soil from the local nursery so i dont know whats going on. I havent checked the ph as I dont have a ph meter but Ive just been watering and they have all been treated the same! does anyone know whats going on here?

Relax, their fine! They are alive and so immature its normal for some strains to start off with round irregular leaves, nothing to worry about.

Some strains just grow irregularly, its in their genetics, chances are good that when this plant become a "plant" instead of a "seedling" it will mature in a normal fashion.

There is a strain by D.J. Short named Grape Krush that always has crinkled leaves. He makes it known in the plants description that this is normal and just a genetic trait, nothing to worry about. Imagine if you were given a clone of this strain but nobody knew what it was, just a female unknown strain. People would spend hours reading articles on how to correct the crinkled leaves, thinking it was some nutrient deficancy, and trying to correct the genetic trait, they might actually kill the healthy plant.

Moral of my babbling is to relax, don't do anything different. Allow the plant to grow and when it gets bigger the true nature of the plant will begin to reveal itself. Someone who has never grown pot might see the two lip like leaves that first appear and think they have some other plant because there are no jagged edges on the seedling. Time is required for the plants true genetics to kick in.

For the record, when you take a budding plant and harvest the main buds but keep some smaller buds alive and put the plant into 24 hour light, the plant will revert back into vegitative growth mode and after about 3 weeks of remaining dormant while the plant changes from bud mode to vegatative growth mode it will begin to put out lip like leaves all over the remaining buds just like the lip like leaves of a seedling. Then in a week or so it will put out round leaves just like the ones on your seedling which in a week or so will mature and the plant will explode with new growth, to much new growth in fact so it will require some pruning to thin it out.

Time, just give them love and time, don't try to fix what isn't broke! Good Luck!

The problem here is the noobie growing too many different strains, far better for you to stick to one simple easy to grow strain until your are comfortable and experienced then takle to fucked up genome versions, bottomline is they should pull up OK,avoid breeding these babes

theyre just mutants. most Ive had grow are slow to start and develop good roots and then after some time grow out like the rest of the plants, but still a very slow few week till they resumed normal growth

I've never come across seedlings like that but have seen many with other people grows and it kinda freaks me out :D

thanks guys, its been a couply days and the gangily, shrivelled one is starting to show some growth between the true leaves!! yay. I was just worried as its the last month of summer down here and I wanted to get some nice ladies going...its only my second grow and I havent done it for a couple years. I ordered a mixed bag from http://www.marijuana-seeds.nl for my first grow threw them in pots and watched the ladies grow up nice. because it was a mixed bag I got about 7 different strains and loved that as I had different flavours to enjoy! and northman my plants actually went into bloom early them reverted back to veg and absolutely exploded! so I know what you mean about that, isnt it called super cropping?
After living in seattle for 6 months and colorado for 6 months I developed a appetite for nice dank delicious tasting nugs (seattle has the mega chron in my opinion), and want to get mine there! i know it takes a lot of practice and trial and error to get there but Ive never really got into high end nutes just seeweed solution, pre mixed blood and bone and trace elements that i mixed with it... do you guys have any suggestions for nutes? (when these guys are old enough obviously)

heres some pics of my last grow..and some end resultsIMG_0144.jpgIMG_0149.jpgIMG_sativa.jpgIMG_0202.jpg
