looks like your growing in soil?? dont worry about flushing, i just plain water for 7-10 days at the end. works fine to remove any residual chemicals..imho

flushing from what i understand, is using 3x the water for the pot. so if you have a 1gal pot, you pour 3 gallons+ of water in there, removing any chems in there. the idea is that you overferted, and your flushing to stop the plant from getting that toxic level of nutrient in it

Is flushing bad? probably, cuz your drowning it, but nute burn is worse.

*not to be confused with the flushing during the end phase of flowering* thats just to get rid of harsh chem taste when ya smoke. and i dont think thats as much water, thats just watering with no chems.

Im guessing someone will correct if im wrong. thats what i understand of it tho

There is 'flushing' and there is 'leaching'. Leaching helps remove salt buildup and is done multiple times per grow by experienced growers to maintain a healthy medium. Flushing is what inexperienced growers think will fix the problems of overfeeding.
