What is "extract" and how

i am starting to grow salvia and ive read about 5X and 10X extract. What is this and how o i do it? THANKS!

I have read about water extraction and it is like a steam process. Not sure....you got to check that out on the internet. They will have all of that on there. Salvia is legal so there is going to be a lot of info about it.
