what is everything i am going to need for a 2x2x4ft grow tent?

besides lighting and soil/nutes what else is a must to start growing? this is going to be my first grow indoor's but also money is tight. i have found a good grow tent for about 130 total for shipping and everything and also a 150w hps light system for around the same, with a 150w will i have heating issues? and what size fan would be ideal for growing,

(if it matter's i plan on growing auto's

Seriously man, it seems like you are asking people to do research for you, then consolidate it and deliver it to you.

Just looking at the front page of any forum you can see tons of threads with descriptions of different set ups. Enough browsing and you may stumble on your exact situation, but if not... Have no fear. Your gears will get turning reading the other set ups on this forum, and you will come up with your own perfect combination that will fit your situation perfectly. Also, the advanced search helps after you get more detail on something specific.

I will say this though.... If money is tight, before you go buying equipment, get your entire plan laid out. You would be surprised what you can adapt/make yourself and save a ton of dough.

Also, to answer the specific about the heat... to give you an example: When my 400w HPS is running in a 6'tall x 2'x2'floor closet, the temp gets up to about 75(f) with only 1 fan running (small 10" desk fan on the floor pointed up) and an opening at the top. I am using a covered, air-coolable hood for the light, but there are no fans on the hood. It's just open.

let me be more specific what type of fans would be good(must be quite) and i am asking on my set up. i have a pretty good understanding on what i need besides ventalation and how many plants would be good with a 150w hps system... and i didnt ask anyone to research anything for me..

One more thought... I also think you may get more bang for the buck if you went cfl. If vertical space is an issue, cfl would be much safer since the plants can get closer.

i was considering cfls at first but from what i have been reading i have been having mixed thoughts, in a 2x2x4 room would a 150w be to much heat?

Sorry, not trying to come across as an ass.... After reading it again, I see how the tone is harsh. I'm a teacher by day, so I feel the need to go into a lot of detail. I know, when typed it comes across with the wrong tone.

its all good, i have been reading up on things but still dont really understand i am more a hand on learner then reading and learning.lol
