What is a good nutrient level for hydro?

I just got a nuradip pen because I'm going from soil to hydro with my clones. What is a good nutrient level for hydro?

1400 to flower and 15-1600 for mother plants, o nutes for clones and 1/4 strengthish nutes for seedlings then bump up to half and so on and so on

What do the numbers on my pen mean? I got a reading of 1 when put into my food, and 26 with tap water. Do you know what kind of scale this is?

Does your pen read in EC or does it read in PPM? it will say on the box or in instructions.

the optimum nute level is 5.8. i go from 5.0 to 6.0 in a 2 pot 10 gallon bubbleponic system
