What If Powdery Mildew Is On Your Trim?

I'm growing cannabis outdoors at the beach and we have a lot of humidity. Before I found a product that would cure and prevent it, some started growing on my plants. Now, I have a mixture of mostly dead powdery mildew and trichomes on the trim leaves.

I'm having someone wipe all the dead powdery mildew off the leaves, assuming the trichomes will return in a few days. However, if we're unable to wipe it all off, there may be a little dead pm or even a little live pm on the trim.

Does anyone know if powdery mildew can survive boiling? If I made butter, would it continue to live in it in the frig or freezer? Would making hash, an alcohol extraction or a tincture be safer?

Please advise. I'd like to understand this powdery mildew shit a little better, get some opinions and discover the best course of action.

Best course of action is the trash! lol, But seriously, swim did honey oil with 5x with some OG leaf and lower buds that were pretty covered in Powdery Mildew.. Swim did end up smoking it all, it seemed to work fine and no sore throat... Not necessary suggesting it, just saying it does work as oil!!! Swim and I wouldn’t and don’t suggest letting anyone smoke it without letting them know there was some powdery mildew before production... Maybe more for personal?!?! I'd love to hear feedback on this myself!!

LOL. I guess I shouldn't expect highly scientific answers, but I was hoping to get some detailed information on powdery mildew - e.g. what it is exactly, how and if it can survive different conditions (e.g. how can I kill it?), if dead powdery mildew is harmful, what it does when ingested, etc. I'm looking to become educated on the matter. "Throw it away, throw it away" doesn't really help, but thanks.

grind it up and eat it in firecrackers.
My leaves dried out early and have a little mold between the buds, I cut out what I can and grind the rest. Not a big fan of smoking mold, but I figure eating will kill any bad stuff
