What have you got from your 600w hps?

Hi everyone,

New to the forum and I've recently bought a new 600w hps.
I'm curious to see what people's best yield has been from a single 600, You can write details of your setup and I'd love to see some pictures if you have them too

I wanna find out what yield I can 'try' and aim for with my own light :]

i have yet to have a yield but i just started flowering. vegged for 6 weeks and they're about 2 feet tall they looove that light and the heat is easy to control, not too powerful. Virtual sun 600w comes with both MH and HPS timer hangers and hood for $200

yessir! just started flowering just today figured out they're all female

what do you normally grow under are you upgrading?

I have a 600 HPS and love it Not had a yeild yet because one plant turned out to be male and the other is a crappy auto. New grow starting in the next few days though

Hey Broad!

I've done a couple of grows but really low budget with not much outcome, (cfls and soil)
now i have the 600w im amped to do some crazy growing! I have plants going at the moment that were vegged with a 400w mh. The mh was as old as the hills so i dont think it did them much good.

They have been in 12/12 for 13 days but only under the hps for 3...and they seem to have done better in the 3 then the 10 with mh!

I got mine, (Ballast, Cool tube and bulb) for $178 then a extra $27 for postage.

But I live in AUS

do you have any idea what that rusty colour is from on the leaf in the middle picture?

My best is ~3oz per square foot (dry/cured) under 600s; I average ~2.5oz/ft2. Just set a personal best for 1Ks - 4.1oz per square foot.

all of this is from a 600w? what type of ballast do you use wow..

Galaxy and Quantum ballasts, and $20 GE lamps from mdhydro.
